Yay, one of my favourite books ever and a neat cover. Although the original first edition was pretty neat, too.Do not watch the movie. We had an amazing radio play of this book in Germany that was every bit as haunting. Still trying to find it again.
I watched the first bit of the several part BBC movie back from the 70s or something, but couldnt make it through.I saw the BBC 2009 version last year, the one with Eddie Izzard, and I was pretty happy with that.
