Christmas Cards

Merry Christmas to everyone out there who reads my blog.
Hope your Holidays in what ever form you celebrate, are grand.

If anyone is into praying please pray for my dog Cinnamon, shes been having trouble with her left hind leg, real bad arthritis and her birthday is coming up on Christmas Eve and I want her to be feeling better as soon as possible.

Thanks.

Here are some quickie cards I drew.
One for the naughty, and one for the nice.

I removed the art cause everyone was stealing it and selling it as products

Then & Now

When I was a kid, I loved the MegaMan games, (still do) and I always was inspired to draw my own robot bosses as if I got to design the newest game, (still want to) I made hundreds of these it feels like..

Recently I pulled out some of my old drawings and thought, what would these guys look like if I drew them now?

And here we have it.

Suddenly Solo

I haven't done much in the way of a fully illustrated cover, so this was a nice change for me from the more graphic covers I'd done in the past. This is Dr. Richard Schoor's first published book as well.

Holiday Vet Card 2009

This was a commission for a Holiday card for a veterinarian.
I don't think I've ever drawn that many animals in one image. Fun tho.

Horrors Of Literature show

Have a art show in Seattle tomorrow night, and all my horrors will be up on a wall in all their horribleness.
I made this original to sell with all the prints too.. books, candles and a monstrous skull.

Horror Covers

I had this skull and bones image pop into my head the other night and I was trying to figure out a way to use it for something... and then I thought of the haunting of hill house image, which is a story I've always wanted to make some piece of art for. I figured it might be fun to make some covers for a few of my favorite horror/ghost stories.

I may do more of these if inspiration hits.

(as always, clearer images on my flickr)

Old Scratch

I had a conversation with a friend on which he remarked that lamas surely must be the devil's horse, which if that's the case, I say poodles must be the devil's dog of choice.

Happy Halloween!

Daniel Handler

Daniel Handler is probably my favorite author, and I've been wanting to make book covers for his 3 adult books ever since I redesigned his Lemony Snicket series.

This is the first.
