My contribution to the Battle City Pokemon art show that took place Sept 13th. These are two of my fave Pokemon, Gengar being my #1. You can see the rest of the art from the show here.

My Neighbor Gengar

Pokemon/My Neighbor Totoro mash up.
Gengar was easily my favorite pokemon playing the game growing up.

When googling reference images for Gengar I came across some other examples of the same idea.
I went ahead anyways because I wanted to make it as close to the movie art wise as possible.

Too bad I thought I was being original here... but there's nothing new under the sun.
